I don't watch much TV, but when I do it is Screensavers on TechTV on a nightly basis. The entire TechTV network was purchased by Comcast Cable Network and is set to merge with Comcasts G4 Gaming network.
Yesterday Comcast fired ALL 285 people at TechTV, Morgan Webb, Sarah Lane, Leo Laporte, Kevin Rose and all he other staff is gone !

The loyal fanbase has setup a petition online to show support for the current staff. It's the people on TechTV that make it great, not the name or the network ! If you love it like I do, click and sign the below

As mentioned in one (or more) of the dozen other TechTV threads, firing everyone is a standard negotiating tactic for a new owner to end the existing contracts.

The petition will do nothing, Comcast already knows exactly how popular the on-air hosts are and will decide through cold financial logic who will get offers to join G4TechTV and what salary will be offered.
 
that redheaded chick on the video games show better not get axed. if anyone's listening, get rid of the gay dude that stands on her left.

Technically he stands on her right 😛. But ya, I like X-Play and the Screensavers. And, what DaveSimmons said is correct. Both X-Play and TSS will return, along with a number of shows. Head to g4techtv.com to see which shows are sticking around from both stations.

That's what I read on HERE. HE was told by his superiors that if he wanted to stay they would take away his stock options so he left....

However, I din;t know he went back and susequently was fired.
 
God, why does everyone care so much about this god damned TV station? It's not interesting. It's not funny. What is so great about it? YOu can hear about something you laready heard about 3 weeks earlier on the internet, but now it's on TV. Why is that so great?

Between there "dark tips" and what people spout off on screen savers and call for help it keeps a steady stream of business for mom and pop comp repair shops because of the idiots out there who take their advice.
I liked Martin Sergent though...his show was pretty funny...
