Save or Toss?

Cleaning out the garage and iv stumbled upon some of my 1990's machines. IBM Aptiva P150 or P166 and a celeron 300a with a peltier yukon and a bh6 mobo.

Anyone collect this old crap or should I toss it? The celeron use to run at 504mhz. Im sure if I looked hard enough the parts boxes would probably appear :whiste:

For someone that wants a working rig, it's mostly worthless, I think. Although... there IS a market for "old school" DOS / Win95 / Win98 gaming rigs, to play old DOS and Win95 games.

If you could find someone interested in that, then you might be able to make a sale, or at least find a good home for them.

Just wait for one of those technology turn-in events. If you have one of those heavy IBM keyboards might try to sell it or give it away.

Mostly I would say toss it.

Even if you could sell those shipping would cost more that its worth.

If you do list them maybe list the parts separately. Maybe if you had a yard sale or a friend was having a yard sale, just put a sign on them that says free. They are really getting old. If you set it up and had it running with some vintage games someone might bite. Some people like old vintage games.

Toss it. Not worth the cost of electricity to use it for the speed you're gonna get out of it. Electronic recycling of course.
