Please go here and help save all the little guys that produce programing for internet radio stations from greed. Even if you don't listen to the net radio, please support the stations by signing a petition. I'm sure the Anand Effect should have some impact:

thanks all

added 03.15.07: The US Copyright Office has released their new set of rates for the payment of royalties by Internet Radio -- royalty rates so high that they threaten to put RP and every other US-based indie webcaster out of business.

Send an email to your Congressmembers and tell them what you think:

or call them and tell them:

For my Motorola q I've tried pockeyplayer, andm now using core player [sic] and used to use TCPMP, which is free and very good.

Signed. I used to work at a local station and we had some ex-internet people fill the Oldies station position. Talented and fun people, I tell you. So much more enjoyable than radio-in-a-can.

Thank goodness, I was worried that the large corporate studios might go bankrupt.

Oh wait, that's right, they see their own obsolescence on the horizon, and they're trying to bury their heads in money so that they don't have to look at it.
Adapt or go out of business.
