save a frame from a movie?

i want to save a particular frame from a movie so that it becomes a jpeg, bmp, or whatever. what program(s) do i need? thanks

I think both windvd and powerdvd do this.. bsplaya does this for movie files.

Yes, I know Powerdvd does this (not sure about windvd), there is an icon on the "control panel thing", with a picture of a camera, click it when you are ready..
