Savant: Mac-based Smarthome System

Vaporware. Read around, they've been around for a while with nothing but empty promises. They also mislead you into thinking they have some sort of "connection" with Apple -- which couldn't be further from the truth. Pretty, nothing else. Functionality wise, your better off with Crestron or AMX -- established leaders in home automation with proven track records.

For fun, if you're a member of the Apple Developers connection -- check out the developer's forums, you can read all the posts from the Savant development team; these guys have no clue what they're doing.

Boy this took a while:

This is 1/3 of the Savant AV System 36 that we ordered. There are a total of 6 of these boxes (2 system 36's), for 16 output zones, 18 audio, with something like 48 inputs.
