Normal "any kind" of gravy is just that.

Fatties turned it into needing also every you cooked to create it included in it now.

Wierd how that post was editted. Don't know if my phone did that.

Didn't say you had to be a fattie to eat it. I am saying most gravy is just made from drippings. Only today are people expecting to see the stuff that made the drippings also in the gravy.

Personally I don't like heavy gravy with all sorts of stuff in it.

i don't think store bought gravy uses drippings...at least not from bacon or sausage. maybe intestine drippings lol.
i hate..hate store gravy.

Everything tastes better when you've been doing hard labor all day and come to the table famished. i.e. You could say the same about almost every category of food today. People didn't used to have such high expectations about flavors and such back when food was just essential sustenance.

My family always made sausage gravy just like beef roast gravy or turkey gravy or whatnot.. brown and salty, made from the juice of fried farmer's sausage in this instance.

the cream? based american south one is weird. would probably eat if I encountered it, though.
