I don't read much into this at all. The Saudis' are dependant on the U.S. for their security,both militarilly and economically. They may be upset that muslums are being killed,just as we are that any americans get killed.

The alternative to nottaking the action we are taking leaves Saudia Arabia at great risk of domination by Al Queda and Iraq. They are targets as well as the U.S.. It just is more prudent on these lunatics to call for jihad against non muslums first,then they will call for jihadf against muslumd that do not conform to their strict beliefs,just as the Taliban haved done in Afghanistan. Ask any free thinking muslum what they think of that prospect, and what their chances of fending it off alone are.

Interior Minister Prince Naif broke Saudi silence on the bombing late Sunday, telling reporters the kingdom opposed terrorism but did not approve of the U.S. response.

Funny how they are against terrorism but the saudi government didnt help in any fashion on the Kobar bombing. Two guys in my Security Police unit got purple hearts from that.
