Satellite, Ultimate TV

Do you need to have a phone line pluged in to use a satellite with Ultimate TV? I've only got a cell phone.


Anyone know?

do you have more than one dss reciever? also if ultimate tv is anything like tivo u gonna need a phone line.

I've got another reciever, this was for a second TV. But I don't need the feature to record a show while I watch another.


What is the phone line used for?

u may recieve info through the sat instead of a phone line so contact direct tv about that.

but if u use more than one dss reciever at the SAME time you gotta have em hooked to the phone line, or they charge you 2 bills.
