Hi all,
Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong category, it's my first post :p

I have PC set up with NextPVR and XBMC set up receiving free to air DVB-T channels. This has been working so well that I cancelled my Sky subscription! Rather than just having an unused satellite dish stuck on the side of my house, I thought it would be cool if I could use it to get free to view satellite TV working with my current set up.

I have a free PCI slot. I also have a free PCIe x1 slot but it is incredibly close to the fan on the GPU, would that matter? I was looking at something like this or this. Would they work? If so which would be better? Or would you recommend a different one?

Also, would I need to change where the satellite is pointing at all, or would it work fine where Sky have positioned it?

Thanks!

A horizon-to-horizon mount would be best for the most channels. I've used a DVB-S card in the past, but DVB-S2 would probably be best. Also the dish should probably be 1m+
