Satellite radio subscription question

My month that I pre-paid for ran out on Dec 1, but it is still on. I do not plan on renewing it for the time being.

Is it normal for Sirius to keep it "active" for several days after when it was supposed to run out?

Yep, once you call and cancel, pretty sure it is instant.

That's only if you choose the auto renew option when you signed up. I didn't, and they send me a bill in the mail for $77! They got me for another year.
