Hello All....
I know that Satellite latency is supposed to be high, and not really for use with FPS games and the like. But what about games like Diablo II which are not quite as intense?
I currently use a hybrid cable modem (phoneline upstream, cable down) for my internet access. It is basically unuseable for games like Q3, but I have no problem (or little problem) with diabloII.
Will the same be true of a satellite modem?
Will I be able to share the connection with other computers on my network using my SMC router? (I hear that the satellite companies require the use of a proprietary modem that is connected via USB).
