Satellite decoder for your PC??

I've seen these (or something similar) at the local satellite store.
They work with Full View 4DTV systems (Big Ugly Dish on Digital transponders)

DSS won't work without your access card. AFAIK the only way to receive Dish Network (Echostar) or DirecTV is using one of their receivers.

I know at least with echostar, you can't get their service without a receiver made by echostar.
Some echostar receivers are labeled JVC, which are sold retail, but still made by echostar.

As for Direct TV, I don't know much about their products, I do know they let numerous manufactures make their receivers, so who knows what can come from them in the future, that is of course, if the Direct TV/Echostar merger doesn't happen.

Also, If you do want DSS on your PC, get a regular TV tunser card, and put the output from a receiver into the PC.
