everything about that news story is depressingly awesome.

I recommend that everyone watch that.
Also sad that they went to the trouble of sending a reporter and cameraman out to the streets to ask people about it.

"LED light assembly has regular pattern of components. Local individual assigns incorrect meaning to it.
Tomorrow: Is kitten fur soft? The answer may surprise you!"

I'd love to be living a life where Satan like symbols on bus taillights is the most important thing to be concerned about.

BTW - Auto correct in IE11 tells me satan should be capitalized.

exactly. there is so much subtext in there. Every layer in this onion is worse than the last.

🙁

And it was the fact that this was actually a news story, anywhere, with an on-the-scene reporter is what I was really getting at.

Also, let's throw in the fact that they interviewed a real Wiccan/satanist? on the issue, whose appearance truly colors this story in exactly the way that you would expect.
😀

I can only hope that at least one person working at the TV station finally realized "My god...this is where my job has taken me, helping investigate someone's superstitious paranoia? That's it, I'm done, I'm out."

"Wait, you can't leave! Someone saw what looks to be Jesus high-fiving Burger King's King, but it's in the mud at the bottom of a puddle and we have to get a crew out there before it starts raining again!"

You guys yuck it up but look where your attention is directed. This is why reporters waste their time with stupid stories like this. Because you do.
