Apparently some companies and organizations are lobbying to the CRTC to make it legal to offer satellite radio service in Canada. I believe we should be getting it within a new months time.

I personally don't see the point of satellite radio. Why would I want to pay to listen to the radio??

Thats good news... for those who want to keep it legal. ;)

Why would you pay to watch tv? You can get free channels over the air. Its just another place to spend a couple bucks at. :p

Sound is better then FM, commercial free, and they have better music IMO. Plus its what 15$ a month, not anything that will put you out on the street.

I commute 2-3 hours a day and really don't want to take the time to make music cds. Commercials on radio are just terrible. Plus the sound quality sucks.
