So you're telling me that you have to do extra research to make sure your drive offers 300 mpbs in order to get a full SATA300 drive? This is seriously stupid. Because you have SATA II, and SATA I/O which retailers will fail to inform you of of the new adoption to SATA lettings. What the hell is going on? Someone tell me that this sucks.

Your MB ha to suppot 300 mpbs .ie.. 955x

I don't know if you can ge a contoroller cad to allow board that eill let use SATA II.

To my knowledge, SATA II = Sata 300 + NCQ.
sata 300 means sata 300 + no NCQ.

Sata I/O is the name of the organization that made Sata II I think?

O man this is terribly confusing albeit.
