Sata to USB adapter firmware

I need firmware for a USB-SATA adapter which uses the Norelsys NS1068 chip.
Specifically, I'm hoping to find something that supports UASP function.

So far the only firmware I've found was at Station-drivers and Usbdev.ru, and none appear to support UASP.

Can anyone help?
 
UASP appears broken on this controller or it's drivers? Multiple Linux kernels have been coded to ignore UASP-declaring firmware support on this controller chip or blacklisted it altogether.

There at least three other USB to SATA bridge or controller chips that work very well and can be had for peanuts.

Thanks, I did see those linux problem reports. And I also have another adapter that works OK. But here is why I'm still looking: I used this thing occasionally for over two years, and it did work well in UASP. ( I am using win 10.)

I messed the adapter up recently, and here's how: I got a newer USB card (asmedia chipset). If I connect this adapter, it crashes something in the card's drivers or windows and disk not recognized. I'm using the standard drivers which windows installed for this card, but I tried a couple of others.

Oddly, it still worked fine on my older USB card (via chipset), which I kept installed as well as the new one. So, I re-flashed the adapter itself, thinking it might cure the incompatibility. In fact I tried most of the firmware at usbdev.ru, and station-drivers. The latter only had bin files for NS1068 chips, but they still worked. None had UASP.
 
I guess I'll have to. Just last week I had to buy a new car because the ash tray was full on my old one.
 
Well post any details on the make/model/revision of the adapter, if available. It appears there are many firmwares floating around for multiple products. Narrowing it down to a specific one may find someone who has it and might be able to grab the firmware from it.

Thanks. It is a Qicent Model AD20U3. It looks identical to Orico model 20UTS, but I don't know if they have the same internal construction.

It uses the Norelsys NS1068 chip. The hardware ID shows up as USB\VID_2537&PID_1068
It's one of the few I've seen which has a detachable cable.
That's about all I know.

The only firmwares I've found so far were a few at station-driver and a few at usbdev.ru, but none of them support UASP.
