Hi all
I just got an external Seagate Free Agent Pro hard drive that has USB or Esata connections.
I want to use the Esata because because USB is very slow for large backups.
I got the Esata working but can not clone a IDE drive to the Esata drive.
Ghost or Seagate disk copy will not do it.
Any body know of a free software that can clone my drives?

Thanks GEC

Are you sure you are using the other softwares correctly? What you want to do is create an image FILE on the target drive, not image of your current drive onto the eSATA drive (meaning make the target drive like the current drive). The latter method may not work if the target drive is already formatted. Making an image FILE should work to any attached drive as long as there is room.
