SATA RAID with PATA adapter - PATA RAID ?

I am planning to buy EPoX EP-8RDA3+ nForce2 Ultra 400 motherboard, which has SATA RAID-controller.

Would I be able to use 2 Parallel ATA HD's on RAID, if I use SATA -> PATA adapter on SATA RAID channels ?
