SATA RAID-5 Mobo

Does anyone make, or is planning to make, a motherboard with SATA RAID-5?

I am leary of using a card for the RAID-5 because of the current bus limitations of the PCI interface. Until PCI-X comes around, I am guessing a four HDD SATA RAID-5 using the new WD Raptors would crush the current bus speed.

Well buddy, if you use a PCI card, or if it is built onto the motherboard, you are still going to be using the same PCI bus. Now if you are asking if Intel or AMD is going to build that feature into thier chepsets, I'd say you'd have to wait a looooong time because I haven't even heard anything about them even thinking about going that route. I'd say your best bet is to wait for PCI-E and then get a PCI-E RAID 5 controller for your board.
