I'm running AMD dual Opterons and have enabled STAT RAID 0. During the first part of setup everything works perfect but on reboot into the GUI part of setup I get a disk read error. Any suggestion.

Thanks

Did you try forcing which HAL is to be used?
(press F5, then F6 to load RAID driver, then choose 'ACPI Multiprocessor PC')

Where am I pressing F5 and where am I choosing 'ACPI Multiprocessor PC'? I am successfully loading the raid drivers as I am able to complete the Text portion of the setup just fine.

Here is a little more background:

I downloaded this file from the Tyan site because the floppy that came with the board was corrupted.

NF_RAID_Winxp-v6.39.zip

I'm assuming NF stands for nForce? It contained the nvraid files. I have successfully done everything you have suggested using the file I downloaded. On POST of the system it shows I have a "Healthy Stripped Array." In BOIS it does not show the actual drives thought and in the Windows Test setup it show the drives seperately and I choose the first one to install to.

Does this sound right?

Ok I seem to have fixed the problem by enable all SATA ports in the bios. I in the GUI portion of the setup now.
