Sata power connector question.

I know Sata has its own power connector. Does it make a difference in performance if I use the molex connector that comes with my power supply. Will an Molex to Sata power adapter make a difference at all?

Either one will work the same, it doesn't make a difference as long as the drive has both connectors.

Just don't plug in both, you'll fry the drive.

The small connecto has 3.3 volts on it htat the molex doesn't have and is only used for hot docking.
