Sata power cable issue.

I'm having a hell of a time trying to get my Sata power cables connected to both my SSD and HDD. This is my first build, so I'm not sure if it is normal, but I'm getting the feeling they are way too tight of a fit. I feel like I'm going to break something by forcing them on. Before you ask if I'm putting them on the right way, I am.

My power supply is a CM Silent Pro 600m, according to the reviews a few people had this issue, but I'm wondering if this is normal. Do I risk ruining something by forcing them on?

You can break or chip the plastic on connectors if you force them. SATA connectors are a bad connector design that is prone to coming loose so manufacturers try to overcome it by making the connectors as tight as possible. This can make them too tight.

What I suggest is finding something with the connector you don't really care about and insert and remove the connector a few times on that before forcing it on something important.
