Sata port types?

Was thinking of getting the ASRock H87 Pro4.

It lists that it has 6x SATA3 ports. I tried looking up if they were all Intel based or if any of them were Marvell. Anyone know? Also, I've never never messed with ASRock, good brand??

Go to the mobo manufacturer's web site and pull the manual for the mobo -- should detail the controller chips used.
 
The website and the manual both only mention the H87, so you should be good there.

The Asrock boards are quite popular. I have not tried one yet.
 
Looks like ftp traffic is blocked at work so couldn't view the document myself. So, thanks for the reply. Will be ordering that along with a few other things for a new build. Was pretty much the last thing I needed to know before ordering. Thanks.
