sata on a laptop (IBM T42)

hi guys,

i have a t42 and am looking to upgrade the 5400 rpm drive to whatever is fastest on the market now - i have a 7k60 travelstar but was wondering if i should look into the seagate sata 80 gb/7200 drive... wondering if anyone has done an install of such on their own laptop?
