SATA II?

Is it worth $9.00 more on a Seagate drive for SATA II with Native Command Queing?
Will SATA II work with an MSI K8N Neo Platinum Mobo?

I think native command queing will happen in the new intel ich6 southbridge. The ich5 that isn in most of these mobos now wont have it enabled. I don't know about nforce or via chipsets though.

NCQ isn't something that could come with a software/firmware upgrade? I don't really know what it is...but my limited programming experience made me think it wouldn't require a hardware upgrade. Anyone else know anything about this?

im pretty sure NCQ requires hardware support, NCQ doesnt sound like something you can get a software update on. im not sure sataII will work with sataI(the stardard seems like it should allow it), if u have sataI drive controller it wont take advantage of the speed increase of sataII harddrive offers, nor the NCQ.
