SATA-II HDD on a SATA(1.5Gbps) MB

Wanted to buy the Samsung SP2504C, 250G SATA-II, for an Abit IC7-MAX3board, but for my surprise, I?ve been told, at the store, that the MB may not recognize all of the HDD volume.

Have anyone encounter any issues, or maybe have a SATA-II on one of the Abit IC7 board models and can tell if that so.

Thanks 🙂

Would be down to BIOS & OS support for LBA but as it's a fairly recent board I wouldn't have thought that it was a problem.
As for running a 3.0Gb/s SATA HDD on a 1.5Gb/s controller it shouldn't be a problem (especially as the Samsung can be jumpered to force 1.5Gb/s compatibility).
