SATA I & SATA II

When I purchased my two Hitachi SATA II drives I did not realize that they were bare drives so I had to by the data cable. All the ones in the store are labled for SATA I/150. I could not find anything proclaiming SATA II/300.

Do SATA I & II use the same cable?

Too bad not a single HD maxes on the original SATA 150mb/s line.... much less pass in order to use 300mb/s

It's not the cable rather the interface just as 100/133 PATA Drives can not reach their speed bit it's not the IDE cables fault...
