sata I or II cables?

i bought a 500gb samsung spinpoint 3.0 SATA OEM Drive so it came with no cables...i also have a bad axe 2 motherboard....how can i tell if the cables that came with the motherboard are Sata I or II cables?
 
If your motherboard has SATA 2.0 ports, chances are they included SATA 2.0 cables too.
 
sorry, i was crusing newegg and saw under the sata cables some where listed as sata II and some not with the II and said 1.5 and the sata II cables said capable of 3.0
