Are you a human?
www.newegg.com
Part of Newegg's open-box/overstock clearance sale, with a 30% off promo code.
Do ya feel lucky, punk? Do you have a SATA HDD that's 500GB or SMALLER, and need an enclosure?
If anyone is feeling like an Angel, and knows of a firmware upgrade that one could perform to the chipset used in this enclosure, and upgrade it to support AT LEAST a 2TB HDD, that would be really sweet, and make these worth it to take a chance on.
Otherwise, these are basically garbage, unless you want to go on ebay and buy up a bunch of 500GB WD AAKS HDDs, and turn the combo into external drive units to use for client backups or to sell for $50 or something. (Those 500GB AAKS I've seen on ebay for $20 ea.)
Maybe mfg site (has a copyright date of 2012!):
NipponLabs - 3.5" USB 2.0 External Enclosure for SATA I and SATA II Hard Drive

Says 1TB max, but also, seems to show a different rear panel on the enclosure. Unsure if same chipset / same enclosure as Newegg's pictures. No firmware.
