I have an asus mobo a8v del, and it's not recocgnizing my hard drive (seagate 200gigabyte) what's the deal? If someone can please help, it would be greatly appreciated!!
 
have you updated the bios? If it is a promise controller on teh SATA, ASUS had some kinks to work out with that, and their later bioses are better for that. Check it. What errors are you getting?
