SATA HDD on ICH5 motherboard

hello i got MSI 865PE Neo2-P motherboard and a newly bought Maxtor 120GB SATA 8mb cache harddisk. for some reasons i cant seem to detect my new harddrive. i al tried looking for sata controller drive of ICH5(which my motherboard uses) but all i found was driver for ICH5-r which didnt work with my system..

is there anyone who can try to helpo me install this SATA HDD on my system??? any help would do thanks.
