SATA hdd and booting windows

what is the issue for which you ask? I have all sata drives in my pc dual booting XP pro & Unbuntu 7.04

Think he meant to say, in BIOS as long as sata is set as boot drive, you should have no problems.
It really is no different than an IDE drive, as long as ya tell BIOS what drive to boot from. It's acually better than IDE due to the fact you don't worry about master/slave crap, anymore.

They are on 2 diff drives, im tryin to learn linux a bit, what is really odd is that inside my Unbuntu is a VM running XP pro.. LOL..
