SATA HD DETECTHING PROBLEM !!!

Hi guys, I Just bought A new computer for my sister, so she got an MSI KT6V-LSR (Socket A) and an western DIgital 120 gig 8 mb buffer SATA.

My problem is.... I conect my SATA HD to my MB, and the bios only show the RAid thing so I can boot on my HD... SO I select Boot with my CD-rom to install window... IN my second boot screen I see the VIa chipset thing detecting my HD and I can press TAB to configure something.. (but can't do sh*t in this panel) I can only see my HD.

So I say ok i'll boot with my cd-rom to install and format my drive like always.. But thats the porblem windows XP intallation is not able to detect my HD!!! Im trying in my other computer with an 865 intel chipset and all work fine my bios was able to detect The exact name of my HD... So what I tryed is to format my HD and begin the installation from my other computer.. So I put my HD back into my sister computer and it can boot on it but then BAM damn blue screen ( since I begin installing windows from another PC DHO ;O) )

SO what im trying to say here is: Do i Need to press f6 and install something when my windows xp installation is Boothing to install some HD drive like a scsi drive ?? update My bios so it can Detect my HD right at the begening.... thats really weard I can boot on my hd but not install windows wtf....

Yes and install the SATA RAID Drivers...it's not the damnkt600 board as all of us do this on a clean install

lol thx I updated my bios driver... was thinking well now it should be fine but.. DHOOO your right I really need to press the f6 thing , but where I can find those SATA driver ??? the floppy provided with the mobo dont work.. do you got a quick link ;O)))

yep my floppy provided with my board dont seem to work I press S so I put my floppy in and it doesn't find anything

well I got it !! wee thx buddy, It was the floppy privided from msi with my board who was defect DAMNALJKAHDASJHDSAJNDLJSAJJDNASNJDAJSDSA, lol i try everything for like 3 hour and it was my damn flopy who was not working... thats why all was fine and detecthing... it was just the driver was not able to load up since 1 corupt byte was on my floppY driver !!! DARNN!!

for now on I know what to do
