SATA hard drive issue

I've got a raptor 74.4GB hard drive that I run windows off of. Needless to say, this is SATA, and not my only drive. I have another SATA drive, a Seagate 160GB. Also, a 80GB IDE drive. Recently, I've run out of room on pretty much all of them. (total of 5GB left on all of them) Instead of deleting anything, I bought a 500GB Maxtor SATA drive to help me out. The thing is, my board only has what I would call two SATA ports. So, I plugged the 500GB into one of the ports designated for "RAID". While the BIOS notices this drive, and my three others, Windows only recogonizes the SATA drive which it is located on (the raptor) and the IDE drive. If you need any other information, just ask.

My system is as follows:
AMD 3500+ (not oc'ed)
Asus A8V Deluxe
2048 corsair ram (not oc'ed)
ati x800 pro AGP (not oc'ed)
Windows XP pro SP2

error, it didn't come with a cd, so no I don't beleive I did.

sisq0kidd, on the raid controller, the options are 'raid enabled' or 'ide operate mode'. I want the 'ide' mode right? I've messed around with this a bit, and i tried to use the raid enabled mode to make the 500gb drive in it's own array, which I was able to do. however, nothing changed in windows.

Alright. I played around in bios and ran max blast 4 and now my 500 gig is showing up in Windows. However, the 160 Seagate still isn't showing up. (i had the 500 gig show up when the seagate wasn't plugged in, i replaced the 500 gig with the seagate to check if the drive was dead and it worked then.)

i know that all of these drives work, because i've had them all for at least a year (cept for the 500 gig one, that one's new, and works now)
