SATA External HDD Enclosures...

I'm a bit unclear about these enclosures. For example, this one, is able to take both IDE and SATA HDDs. Do you just connect the SATA HDD in there like a regular IDE one, and it'll be connected to the computer via USB or Firewire, and not eSATA or something?

I've only used IDE only enclosures before...:(

the internal drive can be either sata or ide
usb only drives...you might as well just buy one of those usb external drives with drive already included in hotdeals. seagates come with 5 year warrantees. on sale they are rather cheap..same as priceof drive+ enclosure or less...
