SATA external HD Enclosure?

Does anyone have any suggestions on which external hd enclosure to buy or any reviews?

If I've got multiple hard drives, would it be better to have multiple enclosures (hard drives will not be used all at the same time)? I'm pretty much wondering whether or not swapping drives while the computer is running is a good idea or not? SATA drives are supposed to be swappable but does that mean that it is ok to have drives on and off for short periods of time?

I also have several SCSI drives and was wondering if there were any suggestions on external enclosures for those as well. Thanks.

As you can see there are many different brands, just not sure which one to choose from.
 
I recently purchase an Addonics enclosure for my SATA drive and it converts it to a USB configuration, its light and small. You might want to check into that.
