Hi everyone,

Now I want to test my SATA express device.

I have two hosts. One is GA-Z97x-Gaming and the other one is ASUS Z97-WS which both have SATA express ports. However, after some efforts, I can not make either of them work. I am wondering whether anyone here has any experience.:colbert: I tried all the settings in BIOS.

On GA-Z97x-Gaming: The SATA express port can be used as regular SATA port. However, when I used it as full SATA express board, by hacking into the latest Linux kernel, I have seen the host claimed that this port doesn't support device sleep which is a major feature of SATA express.

On ASUS Z97-WS: the SATA express can not even be used an a regular SATA port. No link will happen. It seems that there is no power and there is a "SATAe_LED" beside the port which is dark.:ninja:

What device are you using to test SATA Express? I didn't think there were any on the market yet?
