I am having some trouble with my new enclosure for my Western Digital 1600 SATA hard drive. I purchased an enclosure from newegg.com, that has USB and SATA connectivity to the PC. I slipped my hard drive into the enclosure and powered it up. I connected the USB cable but Windows did not recognize it. My hard drive has content on there, it was used on my dell which recently, fried because of the motherboard. I would greatly appreciate your help in this matter.
P.S. Since WinXP is not recognizing the device, it also does not show up in the Disk Management section when I right clicked on "My Computer"
