sata dvd/cd roms

Do you guys think any companies will release a dvd/cd rom that sata? yesterday i receive my plextor 716sa sata dual layer burner. that replace my old dvd burner. I would like to replace my old cd rom too, that work sometimes. Would I just be better off getting an another sata dvd burner, or wait to an sata dvd rom comes out?

There are some SATA CD-Rom's out I believe but there not very much widespread on the market.

If they did it would prob cost just as much as the full monty, might as well just get the dvdrw. I also have the 716sa, great drive!

yeah I love the 716sa, i put the black faceplate on it to match my case.
