SATA drives master/slave problem

I have 2 Samsung Spinpoint drives (SATA). I know that they do not require jumper settings but only one is showing up in "My Computer" on XP Pro. The device manager shows both drives working properly but I cannot access the one that does not have the OS. The OS drive is 80GB and the other is 160GB. I am using an ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe mobo and have looked around the BIOS settings. Again, both drives are visible. I thought I might be able to add the drive to the boot sequence but it will not allow me to add anything else (presently; floppy, SATA drive and DVD drive). I do not know enough about such things to know whether a limit of 3 boot devices is normal.
Help appreciated.

Have you initialized the drive in drive manager? You need to create a partition and format the drive if you haven't already.

Ya, go to Start --> My Computer --> right click --> Manage. In the window that pop's up, go to the "disk management" folder. It should have a separate bar for the 160 GB drive. Check if it has a drive letter. If not, right click on the 160 GB bar and then choose "New Partition". If new partition isn't there, choose "Add Logical Drive"***

*** or something like "Add Logical Drive" ... could be "Add drive letter" or "New drive Letter"
