SATA drives and bios settings??

Hi All,
I have a Maxtor DiamondMax 10 6B250S0 250GB 7200 RPM Serial ATA150 Hard Drive . Everything is working great but the bios has an option to enable or disable Silicon SATA controller. Currently it's disabled but should it be enabled?
Thanks,
Joe

If it works leave it alone. Some mobos use that controller to enable RAID. With one drive, you don't need RAID.
