so, long story short, im working on a PC that won't boot. after fiddling with it a bit, and running into all sorts of weird issues trying to get it running again, i decided to go ahead and try to reinstall windows on the thing. not a problem... except that when i try to load the sata drivers during the windows setup process, it spits out an error message and won't load the drivers.

ideas? thoughts? the motherboard is an abit nf7-s, built in SATA raid support... the drives are 2x SATA Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 (80gb)
