SATA Bridge Issues

I recently bought a Hitatchi 1tb SimpleDrive. I pulled the drive out of the external enclosure because I wanted the 1tb inside my desktop rather then external. When I tried to hook up my old 80 gig Seagate Barracuda with the bridge the drive keeps turning on and off when i try to manipulate files on the drive, or just randomly while its on. Win 7 sees the bridge named as SimpleDrive III by Hitatchi, and the Barracuda works fine while plugged into my desktop internally.

Any ideas? Would be nice to have that bridge working.
