The Asus manual that came with my laptop didn't stipulate whether I could use a 2.5" SATA drive with this notebook, has anyone does this?
 
2.5-inch ultra-slim 9.5mm SATA / PATA HDD, capacities of 20/40/60/80GB at 4200/5400/7200 RPM
* SATA achieved thru PATA controller
