SATA adapter

my mobo only supports ide, but i have a sata hd that i would like to use. does any have any recommendations for sata adapters?

I've seen SATA to PATA but not the other way around.

Just get something like this:

If your drive doesn't have a 4 pin molex you'll also need a power converter.

Buying a SATA controller card is probably cheaper, but the adapters exist.
