SATA 80gb vs. ULTRA 100 160gb??

Is it better to get a SATA/SATA II hard drive with 80gb or an Ultra ATA 160gb hard drive? I'm planning on getting a motherboard that supports SATA II. How much does the speed compare between SATA II and Ultra ATA? I'm hesitant to get the SATA II because of the the fact that I can get twice the space it has for the same price.

They're the same speed.

SATA2 with NCQ can be slightly faster, sometimes, but mostly in server benches where they are running many I/Os simultaneously (something that rarely happens on a normal desktop).
