SATA 6GB and SSD?

I am trying to wrap my head around this... with the newest batch of SSD's using the Sandforce controller... and possibly raiding them, is there ANY reason to use a newer SATA 6GB controller or must the SSD drives also have the newer SATA interface? Are there SSD's that have SATA 6GB interface? Is that a bottleneck now for throughput or nothing to worry about right now?
