i have a new corsair force 3 series 240 gb ssd, i'm using a Marvell SE9128 as my sata 3 controller (P55A Fuzion) and it somehow says on the bootscreen that its running at PCI 2.5 GB Speed.... WHY? i'm getting lower speeds! i've got 2 PCI-E lanes capable of doing 16X BOTH at once and this thing is STILL on PCI-E 1x mode? is there any way to fix this? i tried the bios but there was no settings for that... please help.

If you had searched the forum about the Marvell controller, you would have found that it can't reach 6Gbps anyway, and also tends to lag behind in application performance to Intel. There's no setting you can change. Marvell didn't make the controller capable of enough external bandwidth to saturate 6Gbps SATA.

The solution is to use your Intel ports, and realize that it's not a big deal.
