I have just started looking into buying a sata drive. How good of a deal is this?

Wow, just in time too. I was going to jump on the 160 Seagate deal but with these being 250's and WD's, I'm all game. Thanks a bunch.

Yeah, that is the downfall. I find myself being very confident when it comes to WD though. I'll grab one for now and then wait for the next deal.

yeah they had the same deal a few weeks ago, but the drive was a hitachi with 3 year warranty.

You can pay $14.95 to get an "extended" 3-year warranty direct from WD, any time during the normal 1-year warranty period.
