SATA 120GB Experiencing Stop Errors(blue screen)

Hi

I have been getting this STOP ERRORS, earlier I thought it was the RAM,got it checked from other system, so RAM seems ok .

Sometimes the system freezes momentarily and then resumes operation or
I get blue screen randomly while the system is running, then it says its dumping physical memory, I reboot at this time.

On rebooting both channels (ch0 and ch1 ) say ' NO DEVICE ' and then it asks for boot device .
When this happens I remove the SATA cable and reconnect it back to one of the channels,
this works sometimes, or I change the position the CPU sideways, to make it work . 😕

This is what I go through every other day, I am tired of this. Don't know what to do .🙁

Please help

My system config:
AMD64 3000+ (754)
ASUS K8V MOBO
1.25 GB RAM (512MB Transcend + 768MB HYNIX)
120 GB SEAGATE Hard Disk
Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB
SONY DVD ROM
LG CD Writer

if your motherboard has 4 sata channels and you are overclocked, 2 of the ports are gonna be o/ced as well, and this can cause blue screens. Try port 3/4
